This policy describes the supplied PleaseUseMe website. Processing details can differ between tools. Check the information on the individual tool page before submitting content, files, or links.
Preferences stored in your browser
The shared site uses localStorage for your favorite tool IDs, recently viewed tool IDs, and chosen theme. These preferences remain in this browser and are not synchronized to a user profile. Anyone with access to your browser profile may be able to access them.
Use the clear-device-preferences control on the Favorites page, or your browser’s site-data settings, to remove these preferences. Browser settings can also prevent them from being saved.
Files, links, and tool input
The included tools marked Coming soon do not process files or links. When a working tool is added, its own page must explain whether input stays in your browser, is sent to this server, or is processed by an external service, along with relevant retention and deletion details.
Do not submit confidential information unless you understand and accept that tool’s processing behavior. The shared site does not automatically save the contents of tool inputs to Favorites or Recently viewed.
Hosting requests and logs
Your browser requests pages and assets from the website’s server. The hosting provider may process request information, including IP addresses, requested URLs, and technical logs, under the operator’s hosting configuration.
The supplied shared site does not include advertising scripts, third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or remote font services. An added tool may have separate requirements, which must be disclosed when introduced.
